NICRU: Northern Ireland Collections Research Unit

No survey of natural science collections has been done yet in Northern Ireland, although it is on the agenda of the Northern Ireland Museums Council, and the Fenscore Committee are looking at ways of helping to get the work done. A survey of all university collections in Northern Ireland is being done at the moment, and any natural science collections found by that will be recorded here in due course.

The Federation for Natural Sciences Collections Research (FENSCORE) database was compiled using data from multiple sources as part of a project started in 1980. Please be aware that some records will now be out-of-date. NatSCA does not accept responsibility for any consequences resulting from use of the data supplied.
